Dental Student Scholarship Program

Each year, selected dental schools of the U.S.A. and selected others world wide, are offered a scholarship to award to one of their students. The schools are invited at the beginning of the calendar year, to select a student from the junior class, so that he or she will still be in school the following year, using these criteria: He or she will have demonstrated high leadership characteristics. He or she shall have well above average academic qualifications and to also have need for financial support.  Currently there are fifty four U.S.A. schools that qualify.

International dental schools are chosen each year in countries that have active Pierre Fauchard Academy Sections.  The Sections and their scholarships are selected based upon their respective membership totals.  Currently, each International Section must have 50 active Fellows to qualify to receive an International Student Scholarship.  The determination of which Sections get the scholarships is made by the Foundation Board of Trustees.
